Fix (technical)
Changing a child‚s birthdate on Apple Account or Google Account requires adult family organizer approval or government ID/credit card verification3. Ensure parent account retains Family Organizer role.
Fix (relational)
Talk about age ratings in media and games, explaining why restrictions exist for privacy and safety.
Residual risk
If child creates a completely new standalone account with a false birthdate, age checks are bypassed on that new account.
