Detection
High battery or screen usage reported under system components; child continues using device during downtime via built-in apps.
Fix (technical)
In Google Family Link, open child (siehe ui_strings_ref)et to „Unlimited time always allow„ (DE: Screen time \> Zeitlimits \> App-Limits \> „Unbegrenzte Zeit immer erlauben„). Remove non-essential apps from the Unlimited list. Note that essential system components cannot be restricted8.
Fix (relational)
Discuss why the child feels the need to stay connected during rest periods and establish a physical charge station outside the bedroom.
Residual risk
Core operating system components (e.g., Phone dialer, Emergency calls) remain unblocked by Google policy.
